Nationals from European Union who are part of the Schengen area do not need a visa for visits up to 90 days.
Visas on arrival are only available at Dili Airport and the seaport in Dili for periods of 30 days at $30USD.
Portugese passport holders are exempt from needing a visa.
If you arrive by land you will need to arrange a visa in advance, unless you are a passport holder from Indonesia or Portugal. There is a consulate in Kupang if you need a visa for the land crossing.
